I am an MFA graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. Although I had been drawing for as long as I can remember, it wasn’t until the late 2000s that I realized art could become my way of life. Since 2001, I have worked as a full-time artist—exhibiting, creating, and sustaining my practice entirely through my work.
My paintings and visual projects have been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions and art shows across the United States and Europe. Alongside studio work, I have composed and designed artwork for books, catalogs, and various printed and visual publications.
Inspired by imaginative characters, live models, studio experimentation, and exhibitions, I have always believed that a strong eye for portraiture and a commitment to originality are what keep artwork meaningful—and in demand among collectors, individuals, and galleries. Human presence, emotion, and individuality remain central to my practice.
With an open and exploratory approach, I continue to expand my visual language by working across multiple themes and styles. My practice includes oil painting, photography, and video, allowing ideas to move freely between mediums.
Currently based in Washington, D.C., I continue to travel and work passionately, creating new pieces that reflect both observation and imagination.
